Audio Video Installation · Los Angeles, CA
Conference rooms, video conferencing, digital signage, restaurant sound, multi-room audio, and home theaters, designed and installed by an LA team that also runs your network and cabling. One vendor, one point of contact, and systems your team will actually use.
Quick answer
Audio video installation services (also called audio visual or AV installation) cover the design, cabling, mounting, programming, and support of sound and video systems: conference rooms, video conferencing, displays and video walls, digital signage, multi-room audio, home theaters, and smart control systems. Los Angeles IT provides custom audio and video installation for businesses and homes across Los Angeles County, with the network and cabling done by the same team.
Every project starts with a free consultation and site survey. You get a written quote before any work begins, and service calls after installation are billed at $95 per hour with no contract.
What We Install
From a single conference room to a restaurant with eight audio zones or a whole-home theater system, we design and install custom AV that's simple to use and built on a network that won't let it down. Unlike most audio visual companies in Los Angeles, we're also an IT company, so the network, Wi-Fi, and cabling are handled by the same team.
Displays, projectors, cameras, ceiling microphones, and wireless presentation for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet, tested before your first meeting.
Conference rooms →/ 02Interactive lobby displays, digital menu boards, video walls, commercial sound systems, and in-store music for offices, retail stores, hotels, and event spaces, all on one control system.
Commercial AV →/ 03Multi-zone background music, TVs for the game, menu boards, and simple wall controls your staff can use without calling us.
Restaurant IT →/ 04Play different music or video in each room or zone, or sync every zone together, from one app, keypad, or touch panel.
Multi-room AV →/ 05Home audio and video systems: surround sound, 4K and 8K projectors, screens, acoustic treatment, and lighting scenes for a dedicated theater or a living room that doubles as one.
Home theater →/ 06Control4, Crestron, and Savant systems tying together audio, video, lighting, shades, cameras, and climate, with Alexa and Google Home voice control.
Smart home →/ 07In-wall and in-ceiling speakers painted to disappear, and motorized TVs that lift from cabinets or drop from ceilings when you need them.
Hidden AV →/ 08Weatherproof landscape speakers, patio TVs, and pool-area sound zones for homes, rooftops, restaurant patios, and country clubs.
Outdoor AV →/ 09The part most AV installers subcontract: network, Wi-Fi, HDMI-over-IP, speaker wire, and clean equipment racks, done by our own team.

Our AV Installation Process
One project manager from the first call to the final walkthrough, so you always know what's happening and when.
STEP 01
We visit the space, check acoustics, lighting, power, network, and wall access, and learn how you'll actually use the room.
STEP 02
You get a system design, equipment list, timeline, and fixed written quote. Nothing is ordered until you approve it.
STEP 03
We run cable, mount displays and speakers, build the rack, program the controls, and calibrate the audio for the room.
STEP 04
We test everything with you, train your team, hand over documentation, and stay on call for support afterward.
Pricing
AV installation is priced per project, because a two-display conference room and a 12-zone restaurant are very different jobs. After a free site survey, you get a fixed written quote with equipment, labor, programming, and training broken out, so there are no surprises.
The biggest cost drivers are the number of rooms or zones, display size and type, how much new cabling is needed, whether walls are open or finished, and the control system you choose. Service calls, troubleshooting, and changes after installation are billed at $95 per hour, with no maintenance contract required.
Because we also handle your network and cabling, you don't pay a second contractor to get the AV system online.

Audio & Video Distribution
Video distribution sends every source, like cable boxes, streaming players, gaming consoles, and computers, from one central equipment rack to any screen in the building. Each TV or display can show something different, or everything can show the same thing for a big game or a company announcement. No duplicate boxes behind every screen.
Audio distribution does the same for sound. Music and announcements play in separate zones, such as the dining room, bar, patio, and restrooms in a restaurant, or the kitchen, living room, and backyard at home, each with its own volume and source.
Both run from a central matrix switcher or AV-over-IP system and are controlled from an app, wall keypad, touch panel, or voice assistant.
Design-Friendly AV
Great sound doesn't need big black boxes. Invisible speakers mount directly into drywall or ceilings and are finished and painted to match, so the room looks untouched while the sound fills it. Architectural in-wall and in-ceiling speakers from brands like Sonance and Stealth Acoustics deliver full-range audio without visible grilles.
Hidden screens work the same way: motorized TVs that rise from a cabinet, drop from the ceiling, or sit behind art that moves aside at the touch of a button. Projectors and screens can retract when the room isn't in theater mode.
We install commercial and residential audio visual equipment from trusted names, including Sony, Panasonic, and Christie projectors and displays; Marantz and Genelec audio; Sonance and Stealth Acoustics architectural speakers; Control4, Crestron, and Savant control systems; Lutron lighting and shades; and Poly, Logitech, and Microsoft Teams Rooms conferencing gear.
We'll recommend what fits your space and budget, not whatever has the highest margin.
Smart Control & Automation
A good AV system should be easier to use than the remote it replaced. We program one-touch scenes, like "Movie," "Meeting," or "Dinner Service," that set the lights, lower the shades, switch the input, and set the volume at once.
For homes, we integrate audio and video with smart lighting (Lutron, Philips Hue), motorized window treatments, security cameras, and climate, controlled by touch panel, keypad, phone, or Alexa and Google Home.
Control4, Crestron, and Savant systems can be monitored remotely over a secure, encrypted connection. With your permission, we can check system health, reboot a frozen device, or push an update without a visit, often before you notice a problem.
After Installation
Every installation ends with hands-on training for your staff or family, covering daily use, meeting and event setups, and simple fixes. You also get system diagrams, equipment lists, and easy user guides, so the next person doesn't have to guess.
A dedicated project manager oversees your installation from planning through final commissioning: scope and timeline, equipment ordering and testing, coordinating installers and programmers, and verifying performance before handoff. Equipment is tested before it reaches your site to catch defects early.
Why Los Angeles IT
Today's AV runs on the network. Conference rooms need Teams and Zoom accounts, displays stream over Wi-Fi, and control systems need secure remote access. That's why AV projects go wrong when the AV installer and the IT company are two different vendors.
One vendor
The same team designs the AV, configures the network, and runs the cable, so problems get fixed instead of passed around.
