Microsoft 365 Support · Los Angeles, CA
Microsoft 365 migrations, Exchange and Outlook support, Teams and SharePoint setup, and tenant security, handled by a Los Angeles team that also runs your IT.
Quick answer
Microsoft 365 support is the setup, management, and day-to-day help for your company's Microsoft cloud tools: Exchange email and Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and the Office apps, plus the security and licensing behind them. It covers migrations, user changes, troubleshooting, and keeping the tenant secure.
Los Angeles IT provides Microsoft 365 support for Los Angeles businesses from our Century City headquarters. We handle migrations and projects at $95 per hour, and ongoing Microsoft 365 management is included in our managed IT plans starting at $300/month.
What's Included
From the first migration to the hundredth password reset, one team that knows your tenant.
Moves from Google Workspace, GoDaddy, on-premises Exchange, or IMAP email into Microsoft 365, with mail, calendars, contacts, and files carried over.
Migration →/ 02Mailbox setup, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, Outlook profile fixes, mobile mail, and email delivery problems solved.
Email support →/ 03Teams channels, meetings, guest access, and Teams Rooms set up the way your staff actually works, with help when calls or chats break.
Microsoft Teams →/ 04Shared files moved off old servers and Dropbox into SharePoint and OneDrive, with sensible folder structure and permissions.
File sharing →/ 05Mergers, acquisitions, and rebrands handled by moving users, mailboxes, Teams, and files from one Microsoft 365 tenant to another.
Tenant migration →/ 06MFA, conditional access, Microsoft Defender, safe links, and mailbox auditing turned on and configured correctly.
Email security →/ 07Windows PCs, Macs, and phones enrolled in Intune with policies, apps, encryption, and remote wipe for lost devices.
Device management →/ 08Third-party backup of Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, because Microsoft's retention isn't a full backup.
Backup →/ 09The right mix of Business Basic, Standard, and Premium licenses, plus onboarding and offboarding users so nothing is left open.
Licensing →Do It Yourself vs. Managed
Microsoft 365 works out of the box, but most of its security and organization has to be configured. Here's the difference.
| Managed by Los Angeles IT | Self-managed | |
|---|---|---|
| MFA and conditional access | ✓ Enforced for every user | Often optional or partial |
| Shared files | ✓ Organized in SharePoint with permissions | Scattered across personal OneDrives |
| New hires and departures | ✓ Accounts, licenses, and devices handled | Accounts left active after people leave |
| Backup | ✓ Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams | Relies on Microsoft retention only |
| License costs | ✓ Reviewed so you don't pay for unused seats | Unused licenses keep billing |
| Who to call | ✓ A Los Angeles engineer | Microsoft support queue |
How It Works
Most migrations happen in the background, with a planned cutover so email keeps flowing.
STEP 01
We inventory mailboxes, shared files, domains, and devices, and choose the right licenses and migration method.
STEP 02
We set up the tenant, security policies, and users, then pre-stage mail and files while you keep working.
STEP 03
We switch DNS and MX records at an agreed time, sync the final changes, and set up Outlook and phones.
STEP 04
We fix anything that's off, train staff on Teams and SharePoint, and stay on as your Microsoft 365 support team.
Pricing
Microsoft 365 licenses are billed per user per month by Microsoft. Our support is separate: migrations, setup, and one-time projects are $95 per hour and quoted up front, with no contract.
Ongoing Microsoft 365 administration, user changes, security monitoring, and help desk support are included in our managed IT services, starting at $300 per month.
Microsoft 365
Tell us what you need: a migration, a security review, or someone to call when Outlook acts up. We'll reply with a plan and a quote. No contracts.
Email & Exchange
Email is still where most business happens. We manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared mailboxes, aliases, distribution groups, and mail flow rules, and fix the Outlook problems that slow people down: profiles that won't load, missing calendars, search that stops working, and mail that won't send from phones.
We also set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC so your email reaches inboxes and can't be easily spoofed. For phishing and impersonation protection, see email security; if a mailbox has already been compromised, see hacked business email response.
Collaboration
Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive work best when they're planned together. We set up Teams for chat and meetings, SharePoint sites for department and company files, and OneDrive for each person's own work, with permissions that match who should see what.
When you're moving off an old file server or Dropbox, we map the folders, migrate the data, and sync SharePoint libraries to File Explorer so it still feels familiar to your staff.
Security
Most Microsoft 365 break-ins start with a stolen password. We enforce multi-factor authentication, block legacy sign-in methods, set conditional access rules, and turn on the Microsoft Defender features your licenses already include.
With Microsoft 365 Business Premium, we can also manage devices through Intune and apply data protection policies. These controls support HIPAA and other compliance requirements and are part of our managed cybersecurity services.
