Paging Systems · Southern California
Overhead, zone, and IP paging systems for warehouses, retail, schools, and offices across Southern California, connected to your phones and planned for your building.
Quick answer
A paging system, also called a PA or public address system, sends announcements through speakers across a building. Modern business paging connects to your phone system so anyone can page a zone from a desk phone, and can also play background music, scheduled bells, and emergency all-calls.
Los Angeles IT designs and installs paging systems for businesses across Los Angeles and Southern California from our Century City headquarters, including warehouses, retail stores, offices, schools, and restaurants. Installations are quoted after a site walk, and service is $95 per hour.
What's Included
Paging that people can actually hear and use, planned around your building, your noise levels, and your phones.
Ceiling and horn speakers with amplifiers, so announcements reach every office, aisle, and warehouse bay.
Overhead paging →/ 02Page one department, one floor, or the whole building, with zones set up around how your team works.
Zones →/ 03Page from any desk phone by dialing a zone, with your VoIP or Teams phone system connected to the paging amplifier.
Phone integration →/ 04Network speakers powered over Ethernet that can be zoned and managed from software, with no separate amplifier wiring.
IP paging →/ 05Music in lobbies, retail floors, and restaurants, automatically lowered when a page goes out.
Audio systems →/ 06Shift change, break, and class bells on a schedule for warehouses, manufacturing, and schools.
Bell schedules →/ 07All-call paging for lockdowns, evacuations, and urgent announcements, with priority over music and zone pages.
Emergency paging →/ 08Speaker wire and network cabling through ceilings, warehouses, and outdoor yards, planned for long runs and noisy spaces.
Cabling →/ 09Troubleshooting dead zones, hum, and feedback, and replacing aging amplifiers and speakers.
Support →Analog vs. IP Paging
Both work well. The right choice depends on your building, existing wiring, and how many zones you need.
| IP paging | Analog paging | |
|---|---|---|
| Wiring | Network cable with PoE | Speaker wire to amplifiers |
| Zones | ✓ Changed in software | Fixed by amplifier wiring |
| Phone integration | ✓ Native SIP | Through a paging adapter |
| Reuse existing speakers | Usually no | ✓ Often yes |
| Large warehouses | Good with network coverage | ✓ Proven with horn speakers |
| Remote management | ✓ Yes | Limited |
How It Works
Large and noisy spaces need planning. We design coverage before choosing speakers.
STEP 01
We measure spaces, ceiling heights, and noise levels, review existing wiring, and agree on zones.
STEP 02
You get a speaker layout, zone plan, amplifier or IP design, and a fixed quote.
STEP 03
We run cabling, mount speakers and horns, install amplifiers or IP controllers, and connect your phone system.
STEP 04
We balance volume by zone, test every speaker, set music and bell schedules, and show staff how to page.
Pricing
Paging system cost depends on the size of the space, the number of speakers and zones, ceiling type, cable runs, and whether you choose analog or IP paging. Every quote starts with a site walk, so the price reflects your building, not a guess.
Repairs, adjustments, and expansions are $95 per hour, or included with system support on our managed IT plans from $300/month.
Paging Systems
Tell us about your space and how you use paging today. We'll schedule a site walk and send a speaker layout and quote.
Large Spaces
Warehouses, big-box retail, and manufacturing floors are the hardest places to page well. High ceilings, racking, and machinery noise mean you need the right mix of ceiling speakers and horns, placed so coverage overlaps without echo, and enough amplifier power to be heard over equipment.
Long cable runs through racking and open ceilings also need careful routing and support. We plan pathways during the site walk so the install is clean and serviceable.
Key Features
Zone-based paging lets you reach just the warehouse, just the front office, or everyone. Background music plays in customer areas and drops automatically during a page. Scheduled tones handle shift changes and breaks. Emergency all-call overrides everything for urgent announcements.
For two-way communication at doors and gates, pair paging with an intercom system.
Phone Integration
Most businesses page from the phones they already use. We connect your VoIP or Teams phone system to the paging system so staff dial a zone and speak. Older analog paging systems can usually be connected to a new cloud phone system with a SIP paging adapter.
Moving to a new phone system? We make sure paging keeps working on cutover day.
